Terms of SErvice

These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the onepoundemail.co.uk and my.onepoundemail.co.uk websites (“Website” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”).

This Agreement is legally binding between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Michael Cooper, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom doing business as OnePoundEmail ("Operator", “OnePoundEmail," “we," “us," or “our”).

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this agreement, in which case the terms “User”, “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this agreement, you must not accept this agreement and may not access and use the Website and Services.

By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You acknowledge that this Agreement is a contract between you and the Operator, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your use of the Website and Services.

Your Account

By using the Website and Services and by agreeing to this Agreement you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

If you create an account on the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with it.

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security.

We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

We may, but have no obligation to, monitor and review new accounts before you may sign in and start using the Services.

Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account.

We may suspend, or disable your account if we determine that you have violated any provision of this Agreement or that your conduct or content would tend to damage our reputation and goodwill. If we disable your account for the foregoing reasons, you may not re-register for our Services.

Usage Policy

The domains that you add to our system should be legitimate, managed by you and not related to any spam/scam activity in any way.

You are required to have valid SPF and MX records on domains that send through our outbound email service.

Each email address is limited to sending up to 300 outbound emails per hour. You may not create additional accounts to extend that limit.

To protect the integrity of our services and/or to comply with laws and regulations, the following are forbidden from our services:

  • Forums or communities that share and/or trade compromised personal data (leak forums).
  • Forums or communities that share and/or trade pornographic material.
  • Bulk email sending to @qq.com email addresses.
  • Deceptive use against third party services i.e signing up for hundreds or thousands of accounts using a catchall and randomly generated email aliases.
  • Bulk forwarding for multiple domains.
  • Sending SMS messages via email.
  • Bulk marketing emails (regardless of opt-in status).
  • "Warmup" services.
  • Sending an excess of junk emails that were not intended for human consumption to third party email services.
  • Activities that lead to IP address reputation damage.
  • Activities that abuse the server's system resources.
  • Spoofing “From” headers to display a third party or domain that you do not own or manage.
  • Storage of website files, databases or other media that isn’t related to email.

  • Zero Spam

    Outgoing spam is strictly prohibited. All mailing lists must be double opt-in. Clients must sign up and then verify their e-mail address to be added to a mailing list. Violations of this policy will result in termination and intentional unsolicited marketing emails will be billed at a rate of £1 per email.


    We do not provide any guarantee whatsoever that backups will be available in the event of data loss, although every effort is made to ensure accounts are backed up regularly and transferred to a remote location.


    We guarantee 99% service (pop, imap, smtp) uptime on all email hosting plans. Should we fail to deliver this for any given calendar month, your account will be refunded a pro-rated amount for the duration of excessive downtime upon request.


    If a domain name is listed as available on our website, we will attempt to register it on your behalf subject to an order and any applicable fees.

    There is no guarantee that any domain name, even if listed as available, will successfully be registered regardless of payment being made.

    If for any reason we cannot register your domain, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

    Renewal reminders for any active domains will be sent 30 days before the renewal is due.

    Refund Policy

    We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for non-promotional email hosting packages.

    Domain name registrations, transfers and cryptocurrency transactions cannot be refunded.

    If you are found to be in violation with this Agreement, all refunds become void.

    We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service at our sole discretion.

    Support Policy

    We will try to respond to support requests promptly and professionally. However, we do not offer any guarantee for expected wait times.

    Bumping a ticket or creating multiple tickets to expedite a low priority issue, rude behaviour towards staff and threats to chargeback will be considered an abuse of support and a violation of this Agreement.

    Late Fees

    If payment is not received within 60 days from the date of the invoice, a late fee of 12% of the total amount due will be applied to the outstanding balance. This late fee will continue to accrue on the outstanding balance until the payment is received in full.

    In the event that we must take legal action to recover the unpaid balance, you agree to reimburse us for all expenses and costs incurred in connection with such legal action, including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs.

    Please note that failure to pay an outstanding balance may result in the suspension or termination of your account or services.


    We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its terms related to the Website and Services at any time at our discretion. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this pagea.

    An updated version of this Agreement will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Agreement unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Website and Services after the effective date of the revised Agreement will constitute your consent to those changes.
