We have received confirmation from Coinbase that their Commerce product is being discontinued for accounts outside the United States and Singapore, effective 31st March 2026. As a UK-based business, OnePoundEmail is not eligible to migrate to their replacement product, Coinbase Business.
This means that after 31st March 2026, we will no longer be able to accept cryptocurrency payments through Coinbase Commerce. We will be removing the option from checkout before that date to avoid any disruption.
We had already paused crypto payments earlier this year due to unrelated issues with Coinbase's verification process. In light of this news, we will not be reinstating them through Coinbase at all, and are instead evaluating alternative cryptocurrency processors. We will announce if and when crypto payments return through a new provider.
In the meantime, we continue to accept payments via:
- Credit & debit card (GBP, EUR, USD)
- Bank Transfer (GBP)
- PayPal (GBP, EUR, USD)
